Daily training sessions

Each day, athletes will train in full-length Slalom or Giant Slalom courses designed to build off their foundation and strengthen their fundamental skills in preparation for FIS-level racing and NCAA skiing. Each daily training session will include elite-level coaching from Division I coaches, the importance of competing as a team player, video analysis, mental training, fitness training, and maximizing time on snow. Each student-athlete will receive one-on-one coaching from prominent college ski coaches.

Daily race preparation

Athletes will train within their team, where they will have the opportunity to work with a different coach each day about the skills needed to perform at the Division I level and gain the confidence necessary for the end of the camp competition. There will be both team and individual awards. The College Cup Committee assigns athletes to teams before the camp begins. Each athlete will be placed on a team comprised of 8 skiers. The fastest total time from the 6 runs will count for the team competition and the fastest overall men's and women's time will count for the individual competition.
